So it’s been months, but we finally got all of our ceramics back! We’re extremely happy with the results, but now have to find somewhere for them :/

Some photos from our ceramic course :)

My wonderful friend Aude had her birthday on Tuesday.. and seeing as it’s now spring, I thought I’d screen print some seed packets to send her way. They included dahlia, beetroot, tomatoes, a herb mix, beans and gold-ball-flower-things. I had heaps of fun making them, and I hope the birthday girl gets as much fun out of watching them grow :) I hope you had a great day Aude!

A current work in progress. I have grand plans for this to become one of two posters for my wall.. but I’ll see how I feel about that idea once I actually finish this one! Only about a thousand more spots to go!

One of our on-going projects over the last couple of months has been slip-casting bowls. I think we now have about 6 bowls all made with this process, so we’ll take them off to be fired soon! We probably could have done a lot more bowls in all this time, but we’ve been pretty lazy with the whole thing really.. we keep forgetting about it!

In a bid to keep away from mobiles for a little while, I’ve picked up sewing again – this time in preparation for our big trip home at the end of the week. I decided that I needed some small bags to carry stuff in (as you do) and found an excellent tutorial for some box bags here. The instructions are really easy to follow, the only thing I had trouble with were getting all the corners equal (as you may tell from the photos!). I did end up doing a lot of unpicking, but by the 4th bag, I was a pro :D

We had gorgeous weather yesterday, so I took the opportunity to get some photos of the garlands I’ve been working on.

A new shape I’ve been working with…
